The B&R Automation X20IF1082-2 communication module is expertly designed to integrate with the X20 PLC system via a POWERLINK connection for real-time Ethernet communication. Compatible with POWERLINK V1 and V2 standards, it can serve as a managing or controlled node within networks. Featuring dual shielded RJ45 connectors, it allows easy daisy-chain configurations with a segment length of up to 100 meters. With a low power consumption of 2 watts, it is an energy-efficient choice for diverse industrial settings. Diagnostic features include LED indicators and software tools for real-time monitoring. Certified for hazardous environments and various maritime applications, it operates reliably in temperatures from -25 to 60°C (horizontal) or -25 to 50°C (vertical), and withstands vibrations up to 4 g. It supports 100BASE-TX half-duplex transmission with auto-negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDIX, ensuring robust and flexible network integration with electrical isolation for enhanced protection.
