The X20PS9600 is a robust 24 VDC power supply module designed by B & R Automation for use with Compact-S CPUs, X2X Link power supplies, and internal I/O systems in industrial automation applications. This module provides reliable power delivery and features integrated interfaces for efficient data communication, including an RS232 interface with a maximum rate of 115.2 kbit/s and a CAN bus interface supporting up to 1 Mbit/s. It supports a wide input voltage range of -15% to +20% and ensures consistency with a nominal output of 7W for CPU/X2X link supplies and 24 VDC for internal I/O, which consumes only 0.6W of power. Suitable for harsh conditions, it operates in temperatures from -25 to 60°C when mounted horizontally and -25 to 50°C when mounted vertically. It can withstand up to 50 connection cycles and features status indicators for module, operational, overload, and communication conditions, making it ideal for demanding environments.
