X20SA4430
The X20SA4430, produced by B & R Automation, is a safe analog input module in the X20 series, specifically designed for capturing current signals in safety-related applications. It operates with terminal blocks featuring 16 pins and includes two safe analog input pairs that handle current measurements from 0.5 to 25 mA, each paired with its own sensor power supply. Supporting differential input, these channels output in the SAFEINT format with loads varying based on hardware revision. Protected against overcurrent and external voltages, it supports input signals up to 30.5 V. Equipped with a 24-bit sigma-delta ADC, it achieves conversion accuracy of 0.3% at 0.5 to 4 mA and 0.08% from 4 to 25 mA. The module's input channels feature galvanic isolation and are safeguarded with configurable filters. Overload detection is software-enabled, and the circuit supports up to 500 V DC test voltage. Sensor power provides 29 V DC at up to 60 mA output current.
