The X67BC6321 module, crafted by B&R Automation, is a durable device from the X67 series, featuring IP 67 ingress protection for robust industrial applications. This compact module excels in versatility with open communication channels and unlimited expansion options, making it suitable for a range of uses from singular machines to expansive plants. Equipped with the PROFIBUS DP protocol, it supports 8 configurable digital channels for inputs or outputs. The unit operates efficiently at 24 VDC with configurable input filters and features two event counters up to 50 kHz. It ensures safe operation with 500 V isolation voltage and status indicators for I/O and power supply. The module supports a maximum supply current of 0.5 A, utilizes M8 3-pin and M12 B-coded connectors, and consumes up to 3.8 W of power. It supports a maximum transmission rate of 12 Bit/s and functions reliably within a temperature range of -25 to 60°C.
