The X67BC8331 I/O module by B&R Automation is a versatile and compact component from the X67 series, suited for various industrial applications. It offers quick commissioning with no complex wiring, ensuring easy serviceability and diagnostics due to smart controls. Designed for flexibility, it supports small machines to large plants with unlimited expansion and minimal cabinet space usage. With a POWERLINK (V1/V2) bus protocol, its power consumption is 3 W, operating at 24 VDC nominal voltage. It features 8 configurable digital channels, each supporting 2 A channel current, with a 500 V isolation voltage between bus and channel. The module delivers fast I/O update times of 150 microseconds without filtering. Operating temperatures are between -25 to 60°C, and it includes overload and short-circuit protection. The X67BC8331 utilizes M8 connectors, supports up to 250 additional I/O modules, and includes status indicators for ease of use. It is certified by CE, EAC, KC, and UL.
