HR62501000021
The Danaher HR62501000021 encoder is a precision incremental optical shafted sensor in the Dynapar Encoders series, designed for high-performance industrial automation. With an operating supply voltage of 5–26 VDC and a current draw of up to 80 mA (no load), it delivers a resolution range of 1–1024 PPR and two-channel quadrature output with optional index Z. Its primary function is accurate shaft position and speed sensing, making it ideal for feedback control in motion systems.
The HR62501000021 offers a comprehensive suite of technical specifications. It features an incremental optical sensing element and provides a frequency response of ≥100 kHz for quadrature signals and ≥75 kHz for the index at extended temperatures. Output options include a differential line driver (100 mA sink/source) or push-pull/open-collector (40 mA). Quadrature phasing is maintained at 90° ±22.5° electrical, and phase sense is configured so that Channel A leads B for clockwise rotation as viewed from the shaft. It supports resolutions from 1 to 1024 pulses per revolution, enabling fine position granularity.
Built for rugged environments, the HR62501000021 meets NEMA 4/IP66 ingress protection standards and withstands operating temperatures from 0 to 70 °C (storage −40 to 90 °C). It tolerates up to 20 G vibration and 50 G shock and permits shaft speeds up to 10,000 RPM. The device accommodates axial and radial loads of 80 lb at 0.25″ from the encoder face and fits 0.25″ or 0.375″ shafts via flexible sleeve mounts. Termination options include 7-pin/10-pin MS or M12 connectors, or cable exit. This encoder’s robust design, versatile mounting and electrical protections (reverse polarity and short-circuit) ensure reliable performance and improved efficiency across demanding industrial applications.
