The module operates on an input voltage of 115 volts ac and can pull a maximum input current of 13 A RMS. The drive circuit produces regulated current on a 160-volt dc bus and the output current rating can be chosen through a selectable switch. For easy installation, the module fits into a standard 8-inch NEMA frame. The 5630 module has been designed to effectively convert step and direction inputs into corresponding motor winding currents, providing optimum control of two-phase stepping motors.
