The AKM21C-ANM2C-00 is a synchronous servomotor produced by Kollmorgen. It is a DC brushless motor and part of the AKM series. This product has a CE Certification and is recognized by cUL. Use is restricted to qualified personnel and in machinery where hazard analysis has been carried out. It contains ball bearings filled with grease and is designed for positioning tasks. It has an IM B5 basic mounting style and requires careful handling to avoid undue stress. Axial force should be kept below one-third of the radial force, and its assembly should only be attempted when de-energized. Connectors should only be made with manufacturer's pre-assembled cables. The motor comes with a spring applied holding brake and uses a 0.5m shielded cable with IP 20 connectors. This product has a standstill current rating of 1.58 A. Incorrect phase sequence operation may result in instability. The motor can indefinitely maintain its torque in standstill mode under rated ambient conditions and speeds less than 100 mm-1.
