The AKM42G-EKC2C-00 is a synchronous servomotor produced by Kollmorgen, intended to be used with a SERVOSTAR digital servo amplifier to form a digital control system. It features ten pole pairs, and complies with the 3K3 climatic category as per EN 50178 specifications. The motor contains an electrically isolated thermistor and carries a torque constant of 0.74 Nm/A. It can bear a radial load of 450 N at the shaft end. Certain safety measures should be considered while handling this unit; it might retain live power supply even when motionless, connectors should not be detached during operation, and formation of any liquid around the shaft in an IM V3 installation setup should be avoided. It can be installed at a maximum altitude of 1000 m. Lastly, the product possesses a holding brake designed for standstill incidents, and is not meant for constant operational braking.
