The Beckhoff CX5020-0120 is a high-tech embedded PC from their industrial personal computers (IPCs) range, heavily utilized in plant engineering and machine construction. Equipped with an Intel Atom® Z530 processor operating at a clock frequency of 1.6 GHz, the system uses hyperthreading technology to leverage two virtual cores for improved data processing. Although the device operates with the Windows Embedded Standard 2009, it's incompatible with TwinCAT control software. The unit works within a -25°C to 60°C temperature range and contains multiple diagnostic LEDs such as power, TC status, flash access, and bus status. The system incorporates 512 MB RAM expandable to 1 GB, a battery-supported clock, and weighs 575kg with a 24 DC supply. This efficient IPC offers compatibility with a range of interfaces. Note that systems with Microsoft Embedded Standard 2009 require 2 GB (or more) Compact Flash.
