The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RAC 3.5-100-460-L00-W1-220 is a main drive controller primarily utilized with Indramat 2AD motors, offering outputs ranging from 10 to 30 kW. Renowned for its continuous power and high stiffness, it is ideal for use with CNC machines and tools. The unit operates on a 100 A current type with a 3 x AC 380 – 460 volts three-phase power system, boasting an integrated emergency stop and main contactors. Notably, it features efficient C-Axis operation with the main spindle drive, facilitating position control looping. The controller can recognize rotor positions at an astonishingly detailed resolution, flawless for low-speed operations. It also has a SERCOS interface for seamless communication, facilitating control of speed, torque set-points, and parameters. While not water-resistant, the controller is safeguarded against objects larger than 50mm in diameter, in line with DIN VDE 0470 industry standards. The unit is delivered with a built-in fan and a separately packaged programming module with a parameter list protected against static electricity.
