The S70102-NAPMNA is a digital servo amplifier created by Kollmorgen. It functions with an isolating transformer for essential indirect contact protection, and shuts down automatically when overheated. Included is an integral cooling fan and it must be positioned near the power supply. Its leakage current through the PE conductor comes from combined cable and equipment currents. The unit should be grounded for EMC compliant shielding, and can only be fitted upright using a 4mm Allen key and three M5 hex socket screws. The device's operation and assembly can be managed via a PC serial interface using Kollmorgen's DRIVEGUI.EXE software. Two directionally programmable digital inputs/outputs come standard. The amplifier's peak output rate is 4.5 Arms for up to two seconds with a tolerance of +/-3%. Operational limitations include a required ambient condition, functioning off a common DC bus link and 24 V supply voltage.
