The RAC 2.3-200-460-D0I-W1, manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a specialized spindle drive controller designed to optimize productivity for numerically controlled industrial machinery. This intelligent drive controller works with a variety of main servo motors, like the Indramat 2AD asynchronous main spindle motors and the 1MB frameless spindle motors, enhancing their productivity, stiffness, and broad speed range capabilities. It registers rotor positions with high precision--up to 1/4 000 000 revolutions--and can control motors even at minimal speed. This spindle drive controller uses an approximately 300 Ampere current and can generate continuous power of 37 kilowatts, and peak power of 55 kilowatts. It has three electrical connections: feedback and CNC, power, and specific controller links. Weighing 121 kg, its built-in air fan and heat sink manage heat produced during operation. It adheres to IP 54 protection standards for installed control cabinet interiors and must not operate at temperatures above +55 degrees Celsius.
