The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RAC 2.3-200-460-LP0-W1 is a RAC 2 series drive controller designed for precision control of Indramat 2AD asynchronous main spindle motors and 1 MB frameless spindle motors. It shines in CNC machine applications thanks to its high stiffness and consistent power at varying speeds. This controller features an internal position loop which enables accurate spindle positioning in response to work signal, and boasts a resolution of a quarter-millionth of a revolution. The RAC 2.3-200-460-LP0-W1 operates on a 3-phase supply and regenerates its braking energy, feeding it back into the power supply. Braking is applicable even during emergencies and power outages. Inbuilt cooling options include circulating internal or external air without the need for accessories. Additionally, a heat sink insulator is incorporated into the housing design. This 300A-rated controller functions with a SERCOS interface and has an additional encoder input. It is complete with an internal cooling fan, and its design excludes an additional bleeder and interface.
