Created by Kollmorgen, the B-204-A-31-B3 is a high-quality permanent magnet servo motor. With a low moment of inertia (0.0001729 kgm2), it can provide high torque during high-frequency point-to-point motion, performing well under rapid acceleration and deceleration. The motor is made with class H insulation material, capable of enduring up to 180°C, and can reach a high speed of 1900 rpm with a peak torque of 13.7 Nm. The B-204-A-31-B3's design meets the IP 67 protection standard, safeguarding against dust and water jets. It includes an on-board thermostat to prevent overtemperature failure. It has a weight of 13.6 kg and is capable of delivering 0.82 kW of power. With a continuous torque of 4.7 Nm at 25°C (slightly decreasing at 40°C to 4.47 Nm), it's a reliable motor for servo applications.
