The P22NRXB-LNN-NS-00, a product of Pacific Scientific now maintained by Kollmorgen Manufacturing, adheres to Powermax II series standards of exceptional quality and reliability. Its signature traits include hybrid construction, NEMA 23 frame, standard two-stack rotor and a reduced frame size for additional torque. Enhanced torque efficiency is offered due to the rotor's lamination, though acceleration may be moderately reduced. The 'B' winding can be connected in unipolar, series or parallel forms tailoring mechanical and electrical performance to the specific application of the motor. This motor accepts a maximum of 4.6A, providing good speed characteristics. Despite possible heating, the motor uses convection to dissipate heat through its open laminations, and is safe within its thermal resistance of 4.5 ℃/watt. It features a smooth, single-ended shaft that does not support encoder feedback. Spin behavior is managed with phase resistances of 0.38, 0.76, and 1.52 ohms for unipolar, parallel and series circuits respectively.
