The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RAC 3.5-200-460-L00-W1-220 main spindle drive controller, designed to support C-axis operations, expertly manages and controls 1MB and 2AD motors possessing continuous power of 35kW at the output shaft. Encapsulated within its housing are a heatsink and power electronics, with a built-in fan for cooling; it can function at temperatures up to 55°C. The controller supports a continuous current rating of 92A and three feedback interfaces. During commissioning, vital system settings can be conveniently keyed in using the unit's integrated control panel and keypad. Real-time communications such as speed, torque, and positional set-points of CNC controls can be managed through its SERCOS interface. The controller conforms to the DIN VDE 0160 specifications and meets the DIN 40 040 humidity class F criteria, with an IP 54 rated housing offering significant protection. The device should always be positioned vertically to allow heat to dissipate effectively via the lid's air slits.
