The Beckhoff EL7211 Servomotor EtherCAT Terminal is designed for use with AM8100 and AM3100 series motors, requiring an IRMS peak voltage of 4.5A. The device uses an I2T model calculation for monitoring parameters such as temperature, load, over-voltage, over-current, and under-current. Can-over-EtherCAT (CoE) is used for process-to-process communication, supporting various operating systems. Servo performance is achieved through a closed-loop system or feedback control mechanism that variates the current to adjust the torque, speed, and position. Similar to EL7211, EL7201 has a comparable system with different specifications. Weighing approximately 95g, the device has a permanent magnet-excited three-phase synchronous motor, with a servomotor and motor brake output. Its DC source supply voltage power should be less than 50V, supplied via power connectors. Special features include system-integration and compact modeling, with electrical isolation provided by the Energy Bus (E-bus)/Serial bus. The device does not include One Cable Technology (OCT).
