The MSK100B-0200-NN-M2-LG1-RNNN, a synchronous servomotor created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is designed to operate effectively in potentially explosive environments for general automation technology-related applications. However, to prevent property damage or personal injury, the motor must only be used as intended and exclusively with the manufacturer’s drive controller. Before starting, the motor must be grounded appropriately with a motor cable. The unit is engineered to work under specific conditions and must not exceed a setup elevation of 1000m above sea level. It features a high-end optical encoder system, a holding brake and an output shaft for optimized performance. Incorrect use can cause dangerous drive controller movements and the surfaces may become very hot during or after use. Disconnecting from power is mandatory during maintenance, repair, or cleaning. The motor is capped at a maximum functioning temperature of 55°C, and corrosion protection is needed on its surface.
