The SS2000D3, a product of Danaher Motion, is a chopper drive widely used in automated industrial applications. This USA-manufactured, UL recognized device is specifically designed to operate stepper motors at variable speeds, with a maximum of 10,000 full steps per second. Featuring versatile functionality, the SS2000D3 operates in full, half, or fractional steps (1/5, 1/10, 1/16), utilizing bipolar power and MOSFET and IGBT devices. It is equipped with a range of features such as boost current, reduce current, drive ready output, and optically isolated inputs. The SS2000D3 is designed to mitigate electrical noise interference, though best practice involves isolating signal and power cables to avoid coupling. It's designed for vertical mounting on a flat surface, with 2 inches of space around the top, bottom and sides to allow for natural convection cooling. Maximum AC input is 132 VAC, with a minimum of 90 VAC, and a fuse rating of 250 volts, 8 amperes.
