The Beckhoff manufactured EL6080 is an EtherCAT memory terminal equipped with a total memory of 128 kbyte and a maximum usable memory of 1280 bytes for both cyclic and acyclic access. The terminal is configured through the TwinCAT system manager with supply voltage provided via E-bus. The EL6080 is designed for operation in temperatures of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius, in humid conditions not exceeding 95% without condensation. The terminal is certified by CE, ATEX and cUlus, meeting EMC immunity requirements. It is protected to IP 20 class standards, requiring installation in a control cabinet with a minimum IP 54 degree of protection. The EL6080 uses cyclic and acyclic processes for memory access and is intended for use by trained control, automation and drive engineering professionals. It's designed for safe operation, requiring it to be in a powered down state during installation and maintenance. Data can be entered manually in either online or offline mode.
