The Bosch Rexroth Indramat TFM 3.1-050-300-W1-220 variable frequency drive, a TFM series product, enables the control of AC motor torque and speed by adjusting input voltage and frequency. This unique drive with a 300VDC bus voltage, and a 200VAC nominal voltage rating for its heatsink blower, integrates an intermediate circuit that filters out residue and harmonics resulting in a ripple-free motor output. It can be interfaced with a transducer and programmed for a preset value in basic operations. Safety features include torque restriction limits set by the user to prevent equipment damage. The drive should be situated near the motor in a well-ventilated area and comes with a built-in blower for internal cooling. It requires a serial connection and is positioned between the motor and mains supply. Suitable for high-speed, multi-motor applications, this drive enhances motor-driven equipment efficiency by adapting the equipment's speed to fluctuating load requirements for consistent process control.
