The Beckhoff EL6652 is an EtherNet/IP master terminal central to Beckhoff's EtherCAT technology. This solution, developed for industrial automation, harnesses the power of real-time computing within a cutting-edge industrial Ethernet system. The terminal allows the configuration of an Ethernet/IP unit by a Beckhoff EtherCAT master, enabling diverse process data handling. The EL6652, featuring 2 switched-port Ethernet connections, can interface with up to 16 other EtherNet/IP devices. Its data capabilities include a maximum of 1 kilobyte (input and output). With a pair of RJ45-port 100BASE-TX Ethernet interface, it uses a supplied 5V voltage via bus coupler. The terminal operates efficiently in temperatures of 0-55 Celsius and at a humidity below 95 percent (without condensation). Certified by CE and UL, the EL6652 is universal, however its installation should avoid liquid-prone areas. It also grants Unicast and Multicast transmission.
